Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message for Donald Trump and white supremacists

Addressing the white supremacist rallies in Charlottesville, Va., Arnold Schwarzenegger says, "There are not two sides to hatred."

Once again, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has some choice words for U.S. President Donald Trump.

After the pair’s now-famous Apprentice fallout, they very rarely see eye-to-eye and often take their verbal arguments into the public realm. This time, Trump’s “two sides” statements in regard to the protests and violence in Charlottesville, Va., earlier this week riled Schwarzenegger enough for him to record a message for the president.

The Austrian-born Schwarzenegger says to Trump that he has a “moral responsibility to send an unequivocal message that you won’t stand for hate and racism.”

“There are not two sides to bigotry and there are not two sides to hatred,” he continued. “And if you choose to march with a flag that symbolizes the slaughter of millions of people there are not two sides to that. The only way to beat the loud, angry voices of hate is to meet them with louder, more reasonable voices.”

At the end of his message to Trump, Schwarzenegger gestures and speaks sarcastically to a Trump bobblehead on his desk.

The message then goes full Arnie when he switches gears and delivers a blunt diatribe against hate groups, like white supremacists and neo-Nazis, telling them that their heroes are “losers.”

“Your heroes are losers. You are supporting a lost cause,” he said. “And believe me, I knew the original Nazis, because I was born in Austria in 1947, shortly after the Second World War. And growing up, I was surrounded by broken men, men who came home from a war filled with shrapnel and guilt, men who were misled into a losing ideology. And I can tell you: that these ghosts you idolize spent the rest of their lives living in shame and right now, they’re resting in hell.”

This video message is the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between Trump and Schwarzenegger.

The latest on Arnold Schwarzenegger

The pair have been warring on social media for months now, a battle of words that began when Schwarzenegger took over Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice hosting duties.

Trump continually jabbed at the show’s low ratings with Schwarzenegger as host, and the Terminator star would reply with measured digs about Trump’s leadership abilities and political approaches.

Schwarzenegger quit Celebrity Apprentice in March, citing the “Trump baggage” as a major factor in his decision.

As of this writing, Trump has not replied to Schwarzenegger’s video.
