The Wilmot Wild Lacrosse Club will host their Chili Cook Off and Major Fundraiser Sunday September 23 starting at 11am. For those who enjoyed our fundraiser in February this will be set up exactly the same but will be precluded by a Chili Cook Off!
Heres how it will work. If you want to enter your amazing chili you can for an entry fee (yet to be determined). Then, tasters (major fundraiser participants and others) will sign up to taste your chilis prior to the major fundraiser (11am-1PM) and the cast their votes for their favourite. The chili with the most votes will win a cash prize of at least $250 and maybe more depending on the number of entries! So if you know that you, your spouse or Auntie Gertrude make a killer chili then you may want to start warming up.
The major fundraiser (12:30pm registration – 1PM start time) will be run the exact same with a $50 presale ticket or a $60 at the door entry. Email us at info@wilmotwild.ca for more details.
Just under a week away so set the date. We have some new projects in mind for the 2019 season and this will be a good way to kick things off. Event will be held again by our friends at Descendants Beer & Beverage Co.
