The Bobbins Baubles Brushes Artisans’ Show and Sale was started 10 years ago by 6 artisans who wanted a creative outlet for their many and varied creations. For the first 3 years, it was held in artisans’ houses in Kitchener and Wellesley.
The success of the show, including the number of artisans and customers, grew quickly during those first 3 years and in 2012 we sought out a new venue, landing at Meadow Acres Garden Centre near Petersburg.
This year we have 18 artisans offering a wide variety of handmade, high quality creations from shortbreads, jams and pickles, to jewelry, quilts, and handmade organic soaps and everything in between.
You will love wandering through the Meadow Acres indoor store while making your way back to the greenhouse where you will be WOWed by the amazing products that our artisans create. Drop a ballot in the box for your chance to win a door prize of artisans’ items, stop to pick up some hot apple cider and home-baked treats and browse the show. You will find a unique gift for everyone on your Christmas list and maybe something special for yourself as well.
