KWHydro Electric Classic Albums Live: RUSH 2112

KWHydro presents Electric Classic Albums Live: RUSH 2112

Classic Albums Live takes classic albums from the 60s and 70s and recreates those albums live on stage – “Note for note. Cut for cut”. Using the world’s best musicians, fans are treated to an exact replication of the album followed by a seconds set of the featured artist’s greatest hits

Classic Albums Live brings together some of the country’s finest musicians to re-create live on stage the exact sounds of the greatest albums of the 60s and 70s. Musicians are chosen according to their sound and their fit into a particular niche, be it CCR, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, or Led Zeppelin. The album might require a sitar player, a children’s choir, a string quartet or someone to ring the alarm clock. Whatever it takes, the musicians treat these revered albums like a score -the way a symphony orchestra treats Mozart.

2112 was the fourth studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush. Released in 1976, it features the seven-part title suite composed by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, with lyrics written by Neil Peart telling a dystopian story set in the year 2112.
