Canada Day Old Post Office Projection Project
In partnership with the Cambridge Celebrates Canada Day Committee, residents are invited to submit photos of themselves or family members to be included in the Canada Day Old Post Office Projection Project. So wear your red and white, stand in front of a Canadian iconic symbol, show us your Canada Day craft, or your pet in their red and white! Submit your photo on this website between June 1 -17 to be included in the exhibit.
The Canada Day Old Post Office Projection Project will run from July 2 (or the start of Stage 2 of the Province of Ontario re opening plan) to 7 at 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm, 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm in a large projection onto the Old Post Office (12 Water Street South). After July 7, the Exhibit will run Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm, 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm until the end of July. Please check this website for schedule updates as per provincial guidelines.
The Type of Photos We Are Looking For:
- Close up portrait (head and shoulders) – you wearing your favorite red and white wardrobe/costume, face painted, your pet in their red and white
- Close up action photos of one or two people – actively celebrating being a Canadian. Decorate your porch in preparation of Canada Day – show us YOUR Canadiana!
Please note: All applicable photos submitted will be projected onto the Old Post Office. If the photo is deemed inappropriate or the quality of the photo composition, light and/or resolution do not meet adequate standards, the photo will not be used.
