Experience awesome at #TNDTK with a free outdoor concert at Carl Zehr Square in downtown Kitchener. True North attendees and everyone in the Waterloo Region community are invited for a night of rock n’ roll, friends and food trucks brought to you by the City of Kitchener.
The show starts at 7pm with a performance from the amazing students from School of Rock Kitchener-Waterloo who will tear through classic hits by artists like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Queen, and more! School of Rock teaches musicians of all ages to play alone and as part of a team, putting students front-and-center on a real stage for real performances.
The headliner for the night is The Beaches, a Toronto-based band who are a little bit glam rock and a little bit garage. Comprised of sisters Jordan and Kylie Miller (on lead vocals/bass and guitar, respectively), Eliza Enman-McDaniel on drums, and Leandra Earl on keys and guitar, The Beaches are 100% rock and roll. Their songs flow with unparalleled ease, head bangers with resonance.
