The GOAT Fest Battle of the Bands takes over Dallas Nightclub on Saturday, September 19, 2026, bringing five local bands together for a live battle with a major prize on the line: a paid performance slot opening for Canadian rock favourites The Blue Stones at GOAT Fest on October 3.
Five bands will be selected to take the stage and compete live in front of a crowd. One band will come out on top and earn their spot on the GOAT Fest lineup, playing alongside The Blue Stones at the biggest event of the fall.
The Prize
The winning band will earn a paid spot at GOAT Fest on October 3, opening for The Blue Stones.
GOAT Fest is bringing together more than 30 hot sauce makers, along with food, drinks, wrestling and live music — all capped off by a performance from The Blue Stones.
It’s a massive opportunity to put your band in front of a big crowd and take the stage at one of Waterloo Region’s hottest events.
