This Mother’s Day – DO IT FOR MOM in support of the local Moms and families staying at the Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region shelters.
Women and children that are experiencing domestic violence need our help more now than ever! Help make this year’s Mother’s Day one to remember by making a donation to the Anselma House in Kitchener or the Haven House in Cambridge, all proceeds go to help Mom’s and families staying in shelters right now.
How can you help?
You can text MOM to 41010 to donate $10 or $25*
(*$25 donations will receive a piece of artwork made by a kid staying at Women’s Crisis Services)
or
You can make a BIGGER donation online HERE (will receive tax receipt)
May 3 – 7 on The Morning Buzz you can win a BEAUTIFUL kid sized Muskoka chair hand painted by the kids from the shelter.
Remember when you were a kid and you made your mom macaroni art….(or maybe you still maybe your mom macaroni art…we don’t judge)…well we want to see it!
Here’s how you can qualify to win:
1. Text Gayle, Darryl and Jessie a photo of your kid’s artwork at 519-624-1075
2. Share your artwork with us on the Dave Rocks Facebook Page before May 7th.
3. Make a text-to-donate donation to the phone number listed above!
A Grand prize winner will be announced on Friday, May 7th.
