Big Sugar celebrates 30 years of their landmark album HEMI-VISION – the record that first unleashed “Diggin A Hole,” “If I Had My Way,” and “Gone for Good” on Canadian rock radio and MuchMusic. Blending Detroit blues grit, stadium-sized rock, and heavy reggae grooves, the band forged a unique roots-rock-reggae sound through the pressure-cooker of the 1990s.

Led by guitarist/vocalist Gordie Johnson, the current power trio with Anders Drerup on bass and Root Valach on drums has been road-tested on the wildly successful 500 Pounds tour. Together they deliver chest-rattling bass lines, arena-ready drums, and Johnson’s unmistakable guitar tones, wrapped in vocal harmonies that nod to Jamaica, Motown, and an East Coast kitchen party.

For this special 30th Anniversary HEMI-VISION Tour, fans will experience a two-set performance: the entire album performed live front-to-back for the very first time, followed by a second set packed with favourites and rarities from across the Big Sugar catalogue. Expect a night of roots rock reggae that proves just how satisfying a great rock show can be.
