About Kitchener Klassic – Who Are We?

“We’re 21 girls who love playing softball.  We meet dozens of new friends each year. We bring our competitive edge to each game, achieving new goals and developing skills that allow us to appreciate every loss and celebrate each win; 6 Pitchers, 6 Catchers and 9 Fielders working as a team…as a family.

We are hosting this fundraiser to celebrate these girls and their Coaches because of the love for the game they all share.  Our girls train 3 – 4 nights each week and will be competing at many tournaments this year across Ontario, with the goal of qualifying to play in both the Eastern Championship in New Brunswick and the National Championship tournaments.  Money raised from this fundraiser will be put towards the girls’ training fees, uniforms, equipment and tournament expenses.

From our Parents:  We want to express our gratitude for our Coaches.  It’s not always about the game for them. They keep our girls safe and guide them with care, preparing them for the many life experiences that may come their way, both on and off the diamond.  Last year, there was a situation that took place in the community that was extremely frightening for everyone, especially our girls. Our Coaches worked quickly to get the girls to a safe location, while putting their own lives at risk. We can’t express how grateful we are, knowing our girls are in such good hands.  Thank you.
