Biodiversity and Agriculture Research Hike

Join Dr. Ellen Esch to explore a rare research site and learn about what happens when agricultural lands are returned to native habitat.

Early summer in the tall grass prairie and old field habitats is brimming with insects and other wildlife – come to learn about this biodiversity and ways that ecological concepts are incorporated into agricultural landscapes! This hike will take place in an area of the rare property not usually accessible to the public, so take this opportunity to learn about the unique research happening at rare.

This event is free, but please register at raresites.org.
