The City of Kitchener is offering a variety of free and affordable March Break activities!
Whether your child is a budding artist, an aspiring athlete, or simply looking for a fun and engaging way to spend their break, Kitchener has something for everyone.
March Break Camps for Kids:
Registration for March Break camps is open! Kids from 4 to 11 years can enjoy their break with interactive games, outdoor play, arts, crafts, and more. Come prepared with a refillable water bottle, peanut-free lunch/snacks, appropriate clothing for winter play outside, and indoor running shoes.
The camps will run from Monday, Mar. 13 – Friday, Mar. 17 from 9 am – 4 pm and the cost for a full 5-day week of camp is $113.50.

March Break Madness: 3-on-3 Basketball Tournaments
Youth from 12 to 17 years old can show off their skills in 3-on-3 basketball tournaments from Tuesday, Mar. 14 to Friday, Mar. 17! Start times vary by location, with a different community centre hosting each evening.
Entry is free, with registration for teams or individuals at the door and prizes to be won. For tournament times and locations, visit kitchener.ca/marchbreak.
March Break at Kitchener Market
Join us at the Kitchener Market from Tuesday, Mar. 14 to Friday, Mar. 17 from 8 am to 3 pm, and bring your family and friends! Indulge in delicious breakfast and lunch options at the Food Hall and put your skills to the test with free curling on the synthetic ice surfaces. March Break Fire Safety
This March Break, kids and teens can learn to create an escape plan and check that your fire and carbon monoxide alarms are in working order. The Kitchener Fire Department wants to make sure everyone stays safe and knows what to do in an emergency.

March Break Lifeguard and Swim Instructor Training
Make a splash this March Break with the City of Kitchener’s lifeguard and swim instructor training courses. Learn valuable skills and become certified to keep yourself and others safe in the water. Various courses are available throughout the March Break week; don’t miss out on this opportunity to enhance your aquatic abilities!

Skating
Let your little ones glide on the ice with free skating at outdoor rinks in neighbourhoods across Kitchener and at Kitchener City Hall’s Carl Zehr Square! There are also a variety of skating options available at local arenas – from public skating sessions to specialized classes, there’s something for everyone.
