Don’t Miss Neighbour Day on June 9th!
On the second Saturday in June, neighbours from across the city come together to celebrate the vibrant and diverse community we live in. Neighbours Day is an annual event that connects people and strengthens relationships through neighbourhood activities and gatherings. Each year, neighbours gather for activities like:
- garage sales
- BBQs
- live music
- public swimming
- movie nights
- scavenger hunts
- cooking classes
- arts and crafts
There’s lots of ways to get involved in Neighbours Day! Register today to host your own Neighbours Day event. The City of Kitchener is offering a limited number of $200 gift cards to help support resident-led events on Neighbours Day. Register by May 4, 2018 for a chance to receive a $200 gift card. The final deadline to register your event is June 5, 2018.
